Companionship Care
Many times, our loved ones are isolated from the people that mean the most to them. Building relationships is important to physical and mental wellbeing. CIL strives to match each of our clients with the caregiver they are most comfortable spending time with and who shares the same interest as they do while doing their very best job for that client. Our caregivers can provide seniors with a conversation, mealtime companionship, and friendship during their daily activities. Completing tasks together helps clients and caregivers form lasting, meaningful relationships. Companionship provides emotional support, friendship, and socialization.
Companion care activities include:
- Friendship and Conversation
- Mental stimulation with activities such as reading, playing games or cards, doing puzzles, word finds, or just listening to music
- Mealtimes spent together over breakfast, lunch, or dinner
- Light activity, such as walking or spending time outside
- Reminders for personal care and grooming
- Medication reminders
- And much more. Give us a call 859-552-7958 or 859-724-7252.
At CIL, we focus on activities that bring joy, provide mental stimulation and encourage physical and emotional wellbeing. Our caregivers can be in regular communication with a client’s loved ones to share progress, and answer any questions. Companion Care can bring joy and comfort to both client and family.
